About Membership

The way to become a member of the Federation of Houston Professional Women is to be a member of one of our  Member Organizations. Not sure if your organization is a member? Or are you looking to join a professional women’s organization in the Greater Houston area? Then go here to see our current list of member organizations. Don’t see your organization listed? Then see the information below to find out how YOUR organization can become part of the Federation.

All 2016 Membership membership renewals (invoices) have been sent out to the contact person we have on record for your organization.  To verify we have correct information on your organization please see the Members Roster page.  If your organization does not not receive the renewal information, or the contact person shown is incorrect, click here to go to the Members Roster page and complete the form on the bottom of the page to make the correction.  If you have questions, you can contact the FHPW Membership Director, for more information. Membership renewals were due by January 31, 2016.  If not paid by this date, a late fee will be incurred.  To pay your renewal by credit card, you can go here.

If you are a new organization applying for membership, please complete the FHPW Membership application form on the same link as above. After completing the application, the following documentation must be sent in to complete your application:

  1. Copy of your organization’s current by-laws (needs to include your mission or purpose).
  2. Letter from your national organization approving your FHPW membership, if applicable.
  3. Copy of your organization’s minutes approving membership into FHPW.
  4. Delegate information form and current roster of organization.
  5. Check payable to the Federation of Houston Professional Women for dues of $125 if joining prior to July. If you application is approved after July 1, then the dues are $60.

Dues are effective January 1 through December 31. Dues are $125.00. Annual renewal invoices will be emailed to the President or contact person we have on record for your organization.

All membership applications must first be approved by the Federation Board and new organizations will be noted at the next Quarterly meeting.
